Classic's relationship with Texan Brett Johnson started in 2002 with Brett's seminal Bounce ep release that yielded the now-classic Frank Zappa inspired track "Stucco Homes". Since then Brett has gone on to become one of the most prolific and groundbreaking producers in house music today, having released 12"s on a plethora of labels such as Seasons, Hi-Phen, Magnetic, Icon and his very own Aesoteric. Brett has mixed up some of the freshest beats from the Classic catalog such as Roy Davis Jr's "About Love" and Derrick Carter's mix of "House Of Mouths" as well as some Classic classics such as Derrick Carter's "Where Ya At?" and Rob Mello's "Bump Me All Night". Brett also unearths some early forgotten back catalogue gems from Awoke & Losoul.
