In one of the most intricately plotted Hong Kong cinema films of all time and one of Jackie Chan,s rare villainous roles, Mi Wei (Yu Wang) is master martial artist Killer Meteor, who has a secret weapon and uncanny skills that make him a feared and respected man. Wa Wu Bin (Jackie Chan) hires Wei to murder Lady Tempest, his treacherous wife who has been trying to poison him, and recover the antidote. But Meteor is also an agent trying to obtain evidence against Wa and recover a stolen Imperial Treasure. To do so he will have to face superhuman foes, supernatural powers, treachery and betrayal. As the plots within plots unfold, he discovers that he is a player in an intricate multi-level plan, and can never know whom to trust, or even who will stay dead when they're killed!
