In THE BIG AIR SHOW, viewers will see the world's largest air show, EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) AirVenture Oshkosh, featuring thousands of different aircraft and equipement. The show as founded over 50 years ago and attracts more than 1 million visitors every year! From gliders to powerful military aircraft, helicopters and other flying machines, they're all featured at the Oshkosh Air Show. The program starts with an explanation of how an airplane flies, and then goes right into descriptions and demonstrations of different craft in flight. See single plane and group aerobatics, wing walkers and even get close to the supersonic Concorde, the world's fastest passenger plane. The program also covers custom-building of airplanes and basic avionics, where you learn about what controls the flight of a plane. There's also a visit to the Young Eagles Pavilion, where children can learn about and even help build real airplanes! THE BIG AIR SHOW is a fun learning experience designed for children, but presented in such a way that it can be both enjoyable and informative for adults as well!
