In this film from Republic Pictures, originally released as a twelve part serial, a psychopathic inventor Boroff, alias M.A. Anderson (Bela Lugosi in one of his finest performances) creates a "disintegrating gas" capable of destroying entire cities which he plans to sell to dangerous foreign powers. United States Coast Guard Lt Terry Kent (Ralph Byrd) must track down a shipment of the bombs containing the deadly gas before they end up falling in American skies.
