In 2003, David Carretta and Gigi Succes launched their own record label Space Factory Disques. Three years were spent cutting some of the most vivid chapters of modern electronic music, a field David Carretta knows quite well since he has rubbed shoulders with it after ten years of good and faithful service on International Deejay Gigolo, the label that introduced him to the public. Hit Parade / Mix Parade encompasses all the 12"s and six-track compilations released on Space Factory Disques. Starting from its first release, this compilation series will alternate with electro oddities, techno tracks that sometime lapsing into electronic body music and electro punk caustic deviations. Our generation's most charismatic producer has a knack for skilfully compiling his partners and distinguished electro comrades: Exchpoptrue, Harvey Smithfield (aka Scratch Massive's Seb Chenut), DIP, The Hacker, Millimetric, Poppopfalse, Plastique de Rêve, Savas Pascalidis, and Kiko are all represented here. As a result, Hit Parade / Mix Parade is a cluster of tailor-made floor-filling tracks and also unclassifiable tracks of iconoclastic bleep techno, and some of the most blistering mixes which have ever spun on your player! This release certainly asserts Space Factory Disques as a visionary label, which cultivates urgency and remains incredibly dancefloor-oriented.
