Jim Traft, a tenderfoot city man, propositions Jim Travis, a rough cowboy, to take his place on the ranch and help build a drift fence to keep out the cattle rustlers. Travis isn't interested until he hears that Clay Jackson, who Travis has a score to settle with, is the leader of the rustlers. Jackson's clan of rustlers is led by Slinger Dunn, the most deadly draw in the country, who warns Travis that anyone who continues building the fence will pay the ultimate price, their life. Now Travis and his men must make a stand to stop the cattle thieve's injustices.
