Will Nott and Simon Grace's innovative approach to breakbeat music, together with their desire to defy categorisation, has placed their Inertia imprint at the very cutting edge. Here they trail a long line of successful singles with 12 tracks adding up to the first volume in a planned series of compilations. Soundtrack beats abound, with the opening blissful jazz of Hefner's "Fiendish" and phat horns of Grand Nip's take on "I Go Solo", contrasting with the Photek-inspired chaos of Basildon Bond and Swedish signing Spinform.
