Sue and Lou (Patsy Kensit and Elizabeth Hurley) are two bored English girls looking for adventure in Gibraltar. Tired of performing at a run-down strip club, they see "the skipper" (Jurgen Prochnow) as their ticket out. The "skipper" - an embittered barfly - drunkenly agrees to take the girls on his sailboat to Barbados - a four-week journey. Once aboard, the girls quickly learn that this is not a pleasure cruise. Their host is a gruff, mysterious man who barely speaks to them. When the skipper becomes attracted to Lou, Sue becomes insanely jealous, and the results are deadly.
