Music critic Alan and his wife Sarah live in a house in which a terrible, unspoken tragedy once occurred. When the couple decide to goon Vacation in Italy, Alan hires the lovely Kelly (Lindsey Haun) to watch the house, who is joined by her disabled brother Tim (RJ Mitte) and her trashy boyfriend Jesse. As strange occurrences begin happening around them, the trio find themselves drawn into a web of disturbing revelations, becoming caught in a netherworld between hallucination and reality.
