Bruce McDonald, director of the rock doc about Hard Core Logo, has lived with the guilt of immortalizing lead singer Joe Dick's death on film. He is asked to interview Care Failure of the band Die Mannequin, who claims to be channeling Joe's spirit. Bruce is convinced Care is suffering from a case of possession. As bizarre events unfold, Bruce revitalizes and is cured of his trauma about Joe.
