American heiress Christine Sanders' (Carol Alt) son Robert is kidnapped by her ex-husband. The child is taken to North Africa to live with his grandfather (Omar Sharif) who is the Eir of a small desert empire. So christine hires international soldier of fortune Tom Burton (Rutger Hauer) to resuce her son. Burton assembles a rescue team of some of the toughest mercenaries around to handle the job. Together they do whatever it takes to bring her son home safetly.
